This engineering solution does not require a separate room for the compressor station, it is mobile, and can be installed anywhere.
In recent decades, the use of screw compressors as part of the MKS (Modular Compressor Stations) has been gaining popularity. Initially, Block or Modular Compressor Stations were mainly used for the oil and gas or chemical industries, where mobility and functionality are especially important. Today, economic feasibility dictates its own conditions, because the MKS requires 1.5-2 times less investment compared to the construction of capital buildings and, accordingly, a significantly shorter payback period. The cost of the finished product, as a rule, is easily estimated according to the Design and Estimated Documentation, especially since from the moment of ordering the MKS to commissioning, as a rule, it takes no more than 3-4 months, which also favorably distinguishes the use of the MKS , especially for new technological areas and modernization of divisions of existing manufacturing enterprises.
