JCB launched a new range of hybrid generators
The company JCB at a recent exhibition in England presented a completely new range of hybrid generators, the production of which is focused on the mass market. These generators are based on the QS range, and are powered by JCB engines, as well as batteries.
The generator is equipped with a BatteryBox module, which has high capacity batteries. During high load and engine operation at full power, these batteries are charged. When the load is light, batteries are used for power supply, and the engine is in standby mode.
The company JCB called such a system of power generators - InteliHybrid. When using this combined scheme, fuel consumption is reduced, and harmful emissions are reduced. If a conventional diesel generator of 100 kVA, when operating, consumes up to 100 liters of fuel, working every day at different loads, then the hybrid model, at low load, which can last, and 8 hours, will save about 40 liters of fuel per day.
