Operating Principle of CompAir CF Series Compressed Air Filters (Grade C) (welded housing)

CompAir CF Series Grade C filters are designed for high-efficiency purification of compressed air in accordance with ISO 8573.1:2010, with certification under ISO 12500-1. The body, manufactured using welding technology, provides high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The filtration process includes:

➡️ Air Inlet: Contaminated air enters the filter, where it passes through a patented smooth inlet port that reduces turbulence and minimizes pressure loss.

➡️ Filtration: Air passes through a deep pleated filter element with a stainless steel mesh. This element effectively traps solid particles down to 0.01 microns. In addition, it removes coalesced liquid, water, and oil, ensuring a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.01 mg/m³ at 21°C.

➡️ Condensate Drainage: The drain system, which can be a float or a loss-free electronic drain, ensures the continuous automatic removal of collected condensate and contaminants. This maintains optimal filter performance and reduces operating costs.
