The purity of compressed air is a decisive factor in the pharmaceutical industry
One of the most demanding types of industry is pharmaceuticals, because the products must be of high quality and meet strict criteria.
Compressors International successfully implemented the supply and installation of an integrated air compressor station based on Gardner Denver Deutschland GmbH and Donaldson Filtration Deutschland equipment to the enterprise PJSC Farmak, Kiev, the leader of the pharmaceutical market in Ukraine. In 2013, the management of PJSC "Farmak" decided to update the compressor equipment for high-tech and energy-saving solutions, using the most modern technologies.
The main criterion for choosing a new compressor station was absolutely clean "oil-free" compressed air, without any impurities, fully meeting the quality standards ISO 8573-1, Class 0, as well as technologies that significantly save the power consumption of screw compressors.

Compressors International has developed a project for a new high-efficiency compressor station using the equipment of the leading compressor manufacturer, Gardner Denver Deutschland GmbH, as well as high-performance adsorption dryers and fine filter network filters Donaldson Filtration Deutschland.
For PJSC "Farmak" compressors Gardner Denver series Enviro Aire TVS were selected. The Enviro Aire TVS series compressors have an international quality certificate ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0, which means 100% pure, oil-free, compressed air. In addition to the compressor station, Compressors International has provided installation of Donaldson Filtration Deutschland fine filter network, Ultrafilter series, Microfilter MF 0432 and Sub Microfilter SMF SG 0432, which are widely used in the pharmaceutical industry where high quality of fine filtration is required. The most important is the fact that all filters have been selected by the company individually according to requirements, and provide the most effective, combined reliability and security solution. Ultrafilter compressed air filters guarantee the absence of solid particles and impurities in compressed air, and provide an effective filtration of 99.999%.
To top it all off, on-line control system AirLink Supervisor, developed by specialists of Compressors International, was installed on the compressor equipment to achieve full automation in production and on the compressor equipment. This system allows you to receive in on-line mode a maximum of operational information about the status of equipment, parameters of operation and the current mode.
The innovative AirLink Supervisor system collects signals from all digital and analog sensors via the Modbus protocol installed on the compressor station equipment, processes them, and sends them via the Internet to the Compressors International Service Center for round-the-clock monitoring and monitoring.
The main menu of the program graphically shows all compressor equipment, including dehumidifiers and additional equipment.
Each compressor is represented as a set of pictograms of individual units, which gives the customer the ability to monitor the entire process of air compression and monitor the air pressure and temperature parameters from the suction valve to the discharge valve.
In addition, the status of the main motor, the position of the valves, the pressure, the temperature of the compressed air, and, importantly, the amount of compressed air produced by the compressor are visually displayed. For air quality control, the AirLink Supervisor displays the dew point temperature of the compressed air being pumped.
Design, installation and commissioning at PJSC Farmak were carried out by specialists of the Compressors International Service Department. Our engineers perform routine repairs, a complex overhaul of the screw block, the design of compressor stations and recovery systems. The company offers a large name of spare parts available in warehouses throughout Ukraine.
The project implemented by Compressors International at PJSC Farmak provided excellent efficiency of the entire production cycle.
